Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis announced that it promoted five of its attorneys to partnership. In Los Angeles the new partners are Jessica Chu, who focuses on corporate, tax and joint ventures; Steven Farenbaugh and Max Shapiro, who focus on the real estate law; and Rachel Sanders, who focuses on business litigation. Orange County-based real estate attorney Derek Weisbender was also promoted.
Scott Adamson joined Arent Fox's corporate and securities practice as a partner in Los Angeles. He handles transactional matters such as leveraged buyout, carve-out, 363 asset sales, and going-private transactions. According to LinkedIn, Adamson was most recently a partner at Alston & Bird.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
