Allianz and other insurers providing coverage for General Dynamics Corp. and NASSCO sued the United States Thursday in California Southern District Court. The lawsuit was filed by Clausen Miller over a shipbuilding contract between the insured companies and the U.S. Navy which led to the collapse of a sea wall allegedly caused by the Navy's negligence. The case is 3:21-cv-01202, Allianz Global Risks US Insurance Company et al v. United States of America et al.
