Spanish authorities arrested a 22-year-old charged in the July 2020 Twitter hack that took over verified accounts to solicit more than $100,000 in bitcoin.

U.K. citizen Joseph O’Connor is the fourth individual charged in the hack that leveraged more than 130 accounts, including the profiles of Elon Musk, Kanye West and Bill Gates, promising to double bitcoin payments sent to them.
