Shannon Eagan, Patrick Gibbs and Tijana Brien from Cooley have stepped in to represent AcelRx Pharmaceuticals Inc., CEO Vincent J. Angotti and CFO Raffi Asadorian in a pending securities class action. The suit, for allegedly false claims about the risks of DSUVIA, medication for the treatment of acute pain, was filed June 8 in California Northern District Court by Pomerantz LLP. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Beth Labson Freeman, is 5:21-cv-04353, Sneed v. AcelRx Pharmaceuticals Inc. et al.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
