Fiserv, a global provider of financial services technology, and Bank of America Merchant Services were hit with a breach-of-contract class action Tuesday in California Central District Court on behalf of merchants who use the defendants' services to accept payments. The suit, filed by McCune Wright Arevalo, accuses the defendants of charging unauthorized monthly fees. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 5:21-cv-01247, Walder v. Banc of America Merchant Services LLC et al.
