Pomerantz LLP and Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman filed a securities class action against commercial space company Momentus, blank check company Stable Road Acquisition Corp. and other defendants Wednesday in California Central District Court in connection with their 2020 merger announcement. The complaint, which follows a similar SEC enforcement action, accuses the defendants of misleading investors regarding the viability of Momentus's technology and failing to disclose that the U.S. government had conveyed that it considered Momentus founder Mikhail Kokorich to be a national security threat. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-06287, Drew Depoy v. Stable Road Acquisition Corp. et al
