Liberty Woods International, a wood importer and distributor, sued three former employees Tuesday in California Southern District Court for alleged misappropriation of trade secrets and interference in contractual relations. The suit, filed by Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, accuses Klinder Chaves, Geoff Doudera and Kenneth Peabody of exploiting confidential information to launch a competing company and steal away customers and suppliers. The case is 3:21-cv-01498, Liberty Woods International LLC v. Halo Woods, LLC et al.
