President Joe Biden on Wednesday announced another round of judicial nominees, including three for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and others for two of California’s district courts.

The White House touted the diversity of the picks, noting that three of the nominees are Latino and have “diverse professional experiences.” Another pick would be the only Black woman sitting as an active federal judge in any of California’s district courts, and the Ninth Circuit nominees would also bring diversity to that bench.
