Former U.S. Attorney David Anderson is rejoining Sidley Austin, where he spent a little more than eight years litigating white-collar, securities and complex commercial cases before becoming San Francisco’s top federal prosecutor.

Starting Wednesday, Anderson and Sheila Armbrust, who was an associate at Sidley prior to becoming an assistant U.S. attorney, will be members of the firm’s white-collar: government litigation and investigations practice in its San Francisco office.
