The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear a trucking company’s challenge to California’s worker classification law, letting stand a state appellate court ruling that held Assembly Bill 5 is not preempted by federal statute.
The court, as per its custom, did not offer an explanation for denying Cal Cartage Transportation Express’ cert petition.
