Counsel at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith on Wednesday removed a wrongful death lawsuit against Watsonville Post Acute Center to California Northern District Court. The suit was filed by Smith Clinesmith LLP on behalf of Raymond Rodriguez as successor-in-interest to Agustina Rodriguez, who passed after contracting COVID-19 due to alleged staff negligence. The case is 3:21-cv-08355, Raymond Rodriguez, Individually and as heir and Successor-in-Interest to Agustina Rodriguez, Deceased v. CF Watsonville West LLC.
