DEI billable credit is on trend in Big Law. While long-term results are still in the making, young lawyers seem encouraged by the movement toward giving credit for advancing diversity and inclusion.

In the span of two weeks, Fox Rothschild, Stoel Rives and K&L Gates announced 50 hours of billable equivalent credit for work on DEI initiatives. And Manatt, Phelps & Phillips plans to implement DEI credit in 2022 and beyond.
