The Geo Group, a real estate investment trust that invests in private prisons and mental health facilities, was hit with an employment class action Monday in California Southern District Court. The complaint, over wage-and-hour violations, was brought by Ferraro Vega Employment Lawyers and Rick Waltman Law. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:21-cv-01846, Perez v. The Geo Group, Inc. et al.
