California law firms, capturing large amounts of corporate work, saw revenue grow 19% in the first nine months of 2021, exceeding the national average of 14%, according to the results of the Wells Fargo Legal Specialty Group Nine-Month 2021 Check-in Survey.

“The California market outperformed all the other markets we track, both in terms of revenue and demand,” said Joe Mendola, senior director of sales for Wells Fargo Private Bank Legal Specialty Group.
