Elizabeth Holmes pointed Tuesday to attorney advice to justify statements from Theranos about its technology and processes that prosecutors say were misrepresentations constituting criminal fraud.
In the Theranos founder’s third day of the testimony, Holmes said lawyers steered the company away from deploying its blood-testing technology in Walgreens Co. stores and counseled executives not to disclose the use of commercial blood-testing devices in their partnership with the pharmacy chain.
