Matthew Segal, formerly an assistant U.S. attorney in California’s Eastern District, has joined Stoel Rives, where his practice will focus on antitrust matters, internal investigations and white-collar criminal defense.

The move ends a 24-year career that started in the U.S. Department of Justice and ended at the U.S. attorney’s office in Sacramento. He was most recently chief of the special prosecutions unit in the 34-county Eastern California district.
