Female partners were increasingly on the move in Northern California this year, due in large part to a wave of new entrants that brought different compensation models to town, industry consultants say. 

About 32% of lateral partner movement in Northern California in 2018 came from women. That proportion jumped to about 38% in 2021, according to data on lateral moves from Leopard Solutions.
