Riot Settles Gender Discrimination Class Action for $100M

A gender discrimination class action against video game against Riot Games, Inc., has tentatively settled for $100 million, 10 times an initial settlement in 2019 that was thwarted by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.

Riot Games' popular title "League of Legends"

Riot is to pay $80 million to the class, which includes all current and former full-time employees and temporary agency contracts in California who identify as women and have worked after November 2014. The other $20 million is for attorney fees "and miscellaneous expenses," according to a news release.
