Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner filed a patent lawsuit Monday in California Northern District Court on behalf of genetic testing company Invitae Corp. over its Genetic Information Assistant software for patients, also known as Gia. The complaint seeks a declaration of non-infringement on an existing patent held by OptraHEALTH. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:22-cv-00784, Invitae Corporation v. OptraHEALTH, Inc.
