L'Oreal was hit with consumer class action Tuesday in California Central District Court in relation its waterproof mascara line. The suit contends that L'Oreal failed to disclose that its mascara products contain per and polyfluoroalkyl substances, which can be toxic to humans. The complaint was filed by Weitz & Luxenberg; Seeger Weiss; and Turke & Strauss. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:22-cv-01195, Davenport v. Loreal USA, Inc.
