Pharmaceutical company Merck was hit with a product liability lawsuit Wednesday in California Central District Court. The 93-page complaint, filed by the Liberatore Law Offices on behalf of Eduardo Atjian II, alleges that the HPV vaccine Gardasil has a questionable efficacy rate and causes injuries due to it being fast-tracked by the FDA in 2006. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:22-cv-01739, Atjian, II v. Merck & Co., Inc. et al.
