The operator of a website that posted more than 300,000 confidential state bar records said he never intended to disclose private documents and wants the bar’s software vendor to publicly state that he did nothing wrong.

In an interview on Friday, the owner of judyrecords.com, who refused to give his name, said he has explained to employees at the state bar and at Tyler Technologies, the methods he used to obtain what he said were publicly accessible files.
