A Los Angeles federal jury on Thursday convicted Nebraska U.S. Rep. Jeff Fortenberry of three felonies for lying to investigators about illegal campaign donations.

The jury deliberated about two hours before finding Fortenberry guilty of two counts of false statements and one count of concealing, ending a seven-day trial that included defense testimony from sitting California Democratic U.S. Rep. Anna Eshoo and former South Carolina Republican U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy.
