Wells Fargo and money transfer service Zelle were hit with a class action Tuesday in California Central District Court in connection with an alleged scam perpetrated against Wells Fargo customers. The suit, brought by Kazerouni Law Group, accuses Wells Fargo of negligence as well as violations of the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and California's Unfair Competition Law. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 8:22-cv-00763, Stock v. Wells Fargo & Company et al.
