A federal judge has ordered John Eastman to release 159 of his remaining 599 Chapman University emails to the Jan. 6 Committee, including one email relevant to a criminal scheme and 10 emails involving a group that met with a sitting member of Congress about challenging electors.

U.S. District Judge David O. Carter initially said the documents were to be released to the committee within about 16 hours from his Tuesday night order, but Eastman asked for an eight-day extension, and the judge ordered a rolling production that’s to conclude by Monday.
