The White House announced another slate of judicial nominees on Wednesday, including picks who would be the first woman of color on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and first Latino on the D.C. Circuit, if confirmed.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Dana M. Douglas has been named to the New Orleans-based Fifth Circuit. Before joining the bench in 2019, Douglas was a partner at Liskow & Lewis for 17 years and served on the New Orleans Civil Service Commission.
