Attorneys at O'Melveny & Myers on Tuesday removed a wrongful death lawsuit against Airbnb to California Northern District Court. The complaint, filed by Arnold & Itkin on behalf of Neftaly Torres Jr., as personal representative of the Estate of Neftaly Torres Sr., accuses Airbnb of negligence as Torres Sr. relied on an 'Airbnb experienced-hosts' encouragement and advice to cliff dive at the Arikok National Park in Aruba, knowing that the park expressly prohibits cliff jumping. The case is 3:22-cv-04087, Torres, Jr. v. Airbnb, Inc.
