Attorneys at Thompson Coburn on Tuesday removed a consumer class action against carmaker FCA US and Aaron Chrysler of Norco to California Central District Court. The suit, filed by Jenkins Mulligan & Gabriel, centers on a 2022 recall of defendant’s 2017-2018 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles due to a risk of the vehicles exploding and catching fire. According to the suit, defendants have not replaced the subject vehicles, leaving class members burdened with cars that do not perform as advertised and cannot be safely parked. The case is 2:22-cv-04944, Trovato v. FCA US LLC et al.
