Welcome to Real Estate Tech Watch, a monthly column that explores how the latest technological developments will impact South Florida real estate. I'm Melea VanOstrand and you can reach me at [email protected].

There's now an efficient way to purchase luxury real estate in South Florida with cryptocurrency, thanks to an online modern concierge service aimed at revamping the process of real estate transactions.

I caught up with the founders of RealOpen, Christine Quinn, star of Netflix's "Selling Sunset," and her husband Christian Dumontet, the inventor of Foodler, the first online food delivery service. "Selling Sunset" is a series that follows elite real estate brokers at The Oppenheim Group, selling a luxurious lifestyle to affluent buyers in Los Angeles.
