Last year when a Brown Rudnick team led by Michael Bowe and Lauren Tabaksblat sued Mindgeek, the parent company behind the porn website Pornhub, we noted that it was “clearly not your typical Big Law complaint.”

The suit, initially brought on behalf of 34 individuals who say they are victims of sex-trafficking, 33 of whom were proceeding anonymously, claimed that the company knowingly hosted child pornagraphy and profited off the web traffic it drives.
