Jackson Lewis principals Scott P. Jang and Mia Farber have stepped in to defend Apple in a pending employment class action on behalf of retail store workers. The action, filed July 1 in California Northern District Court by Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein and Stiegler Law Firm, claims that Apple failed to include all required forms of compensation in calculating workers' overtime pay and unlawfully excluded transit time from hours worked. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria, is 3:22-cv-03902, Foreman v. Apple, Inc.
