Daralyn Durie, partner and co-founder of San Francisco-based Durie Tangri, notched a jury trial win last year for online art marketplace Redbubble Inc. in a trademark and copyright infringement lawsuit brought by video game company Atari Interactive Inc. IP Watchdog noted the trial among the top trademark developments of 2021 for addressing important questions about whether Redbubble's user-generated art creates liability under trademark laws. Durie, who is being recognized as one of 20 Women Leaders in Tech Law as part of The Recorder's California Legal Awards, recently reflected on her accomplishments in the last year and shared her advice for women in tech law.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
