Several firms have amplified their IP ambitions since September, with Reed Smith hiring a trademark partner from Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Los Angeles and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius adding a five-person patent prosecution team from Duane Morris in Northern California. And perhaps most notably, Morrison & Foerster said it would merge with litigation boutique Durie Tangri — a spin-off of Keker — this month.
