A bankruptcy trustee filed a flurry of lawsuits on Wednesday to recoup $428,820.11 in checks that Tom Girardi wrote to others, including three former attorneys at his Los Angeles law firm and a former client with an NFL concussion settlement.

The checks include $119,000 to former Girardi Keese attorneys David Lira, Christopher Aumais and Robert Finnerty, all of whom are now at different law firms. The trustee also sued Shirleen Fujimoto, Girardi’s longtime legal secretary, who received three checks totaling $109,820.11.
