Attorneys from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan including partners Tigran Guledjian, Christopher A. Mathews, Valerie Roddy and Michael T. Zeller have entered appearances for Cribl Inc. and its founder Clint Sharp in a pending patent infringement lawsuit. The action, filed Dec. 2 in California Northern District Court by Fish & Richardson on behalf of Splunk, a producer of software for analyzing big data, accuses the defendants of misappropriating Splunk's source code to develop competing products. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge William Alsup, is 3:22-cv-07611, Splunk Inc. v. Cribl, Inc. et al.
