It’s been just over two years since Melinda Haag, the former global head of litigation at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison at the dawn of its San Francisco expansion.

Along with plenty of changes to her own practice, Haag became co-chair of the firm’s white-collar and regulatory defense group last summer, for which she is playing a critical role in elevating Paul Weiss’ presence on the West Coast.
