California state bar prosecutors will turn to former Vice President Mike Pence’s chief counsel to make their case that attorney John Eastman should be disbarred for pushing baseless legal theories in an ill-fated attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Greg Jacob, now an O’Melveny & Myers partner in Washington, is scheduled to appear in the first days of Eastman’s disciplinary hearing in Los Angeles next week, lawyers with the bar’s Office of Chief Trial Counsel said in a filing with the state bar court late Tuesday.
