Southern California Edison was sued for public nuisance and negligence on June 14 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. The suit, over damages arising from the Woolsey Fire, was brought by Robertson & Associates, Foley Bezek Behle & Curtis and the Law Offices of Joseph Liebman on behalf of the estate of Joyce Hewitt. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 23STCV13717, Hewitt et al. v. Southern California Edison Co.
