Airbnb, Blueground US and CV Reserve Partners were slapped with a lawsuit on June 27 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. The suit, brought by Olivier & Schreiber and the Law Office of Kenneth A. Goldman on behalf of Andre Amin Khansari, accuses the defendants of raising short-term rental rates by 25 percent in violation of the Los Angeles Home Sharing Ordinance passed in 2020. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 23STCV15026, Khansari v. Blueground US Inc. et al.
