Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., HBO and other defendants were hit with an employment discrimination and assault and battery lawsuit on June 27 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. The court case was filed by Ray & Seyb on behalf of a former Cast & Crew Production Services sound utility assistant who contends that she was assaulted and battered by a cast member of the hit television series 'Rap Sh!t.' According to the suit, the plaintiff alleges that she was wrongfully terminated in retaliation for complaining about the defendants lack of interest in conducting an adequate investigation of the incident. The suit also pursues intentional infliction of emotional distress claims. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 23STCV14951, Whitley R. Wilkins Vs Warner Bros.
