Edgewood Residential Facility was slapped with a wage-and-hour class action on July 12 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. The court case, filed by Van Hook Law Firm and Byrne Law Group, accuses the defendant of failing to pay overtime wages, failing to provide meal and rest breaks and engaging in other employment law breaches. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 23STCV16306, Javier Gutierrez v. Edgewood Residential Facility.
