Google is a mainstay of Big Tech, and like other Silicon Valley-based companies, it has come under a great deal of scrutiny for a myriad of issues around the world, including in Australia. But Shoshana Shields, Director of Legal for Google Australia and New Zealand, says the hot legal issues of the day—artificial intelligence, competition, the spread of disinformation, and privacy—just make her job more interesting and challenging.
