Google is a mainstay of Big Tech, and like other Silicon Valley-based companies, it has come under a great deal of scrutiny for a myriad of issues around the world, including in Australia. But Shoshana Shields, Director of Legal for Google Australia and New Zealand, says the hot legal issues of the day—artificial intelligence, competition, the spread of disinformation, and privacy—just make her job more interesting and challenging.
"I've always said to my friends and family, and everyone, that I don't think you can get a more interesting legal role in Australia than this one," she said.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
