Digital lidar developer Velodyne Lidar, a subsidiary Ouster Inc., was hit with a lawsuit on Aug. 10 in California Superior Court for San Francisco County in connection with a derivative action. The suit, filed by Velodyne's predecessor entity's majority stockholders and director, alleges Ouster has failed to reimburse them for over $495,000 in legal fees plus interest. The lawsuit was brought by Niesar & Vestal. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is CGC-23-608285, David Hall Et Al Vs. Velodyne Lidar, Inc Et Al.
