Michele Wein Layne, the former director of the Los Angeles Regional Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission, has joined O'Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles.
Layne joined the firm as of counsel in its white-collar defense and corporate investigations practice group, after leading the SEC's Los Angeles office and its 180 attorneys, accountants and staffers for more than 11 years.
