Blank Rome filed a business tort lawsuit on Aug. 25 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County in connection with a $2.5 billion hotel and luxury residential tower development project. The suit accuses DigitalBridge Group and other defendants of allowing a third party entity to acquire an over $80.4 million loan from plaintiff CE-GH Urbanite Fund 2 LLC in an effort to abandon the hospitality real estate market surreptitiously and transition to the digital infrastructure market.
