The Biden administration tapped two prosecutors to fill seats on federal courts in California and New Jersey on Wednesday.
Kirk E. Sherriff, a former White & Case attorney, was nominated for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. Sheriff was an assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of California for more than a decade. He served as chief of the Eastern District's Fresno office since 2015.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
