Susman Godfrey partner Davida Brook started preparing for the type of case Dominion Voting Systems brought against Fox News Network well before the 2020 presidential election.

In the summer of 2020, Brook and a nonpartisan group of Susman colleagues wanted to make sure the country was prepared to count every legally cast ballot in the upcoming election amid early concerns of fraud, violence at polling stations and legal challenges. In the lead-up to the election, Brook worked nearly full-time pro bono, digging into the local laws in key states the group anticipated might have issues.
