Two human rights organizations are suing the University of California and the UC Berkeley School of Law alleging the schools have allowed antisemitism and “hatred and harassment” of Jewish students, faculty and community members to spread.

The Louis D. Brandeis Center Inc. and the Jewish Americans for Fairness in Education (JAFE) filed a suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against the University of California, UC Berkeley School of Law, UC President Michael Drake, UC Berkeley Law Chancellor Carol T. Christ and UC Provost Ben Hermalin.
