Goldberg Segalla added Lara Ibrahim to the firm’s worker’s compensation group in Orange County. Ibrahim represents employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. She is engaged in every stage of the claims process from inception through resolution. Ibrahim draws on experience gained through an internship with the in-house counsel at Earth Friendly Products, where she researched and drafted documents related to EU, U.K. and U.S. privacy policies, company Wi-Fi policy, the impact of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act, trade tensions between the U.S. and China and more.

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has promoted attorneys to counsel from offices across the country, including Jonathan Conigliari in the firm’s Los Angeles office and Yizhou (Jo) Xu in the firm’s Palo Alto office, effective Jan. 1, 2024. Conigliari’s practice focuses on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. Xu’s practice focuses on corporate law and private funds.
