A federal judge appointed Rachel Abrams as co-lead plaintiffs counsel in the sexual-assault lawsuits against Uber, despite accusations against her from a competing attorney of “professional misconduct.”

On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer appointed Abrams, along with two other lawyers, as co-lead plaintiffs’ counsel: Sarah London of San Francisco’s Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein and Roopal Luhana of Chaffin Luhana in New York.
